8th June - Potters ‘Arf Marathon

Another Sunday, another half marathon! This time 3 runners competed in the tough Potters ‘Arf Marathon in Stoke on Trent. The hilly nature of the route, coupled with the hot sunny conditions crushed any hopes of a PB in this event, won by local Potteries favourite Ben Gamble from Stone Master Marathoners.

Kirby continued his recent form completing the course in 85mins 24s to lead the team home, with Kev Francis next back in 87mins 32s. Wakeman rounded off the team competitors in 92mins.
