Shrewsbury overtook Kidderminster and Stourport at the top of Division 6 of the Midland League. Excellent results again across all events, with many first and second places.

- Shrewsbury Athletics Club
- The club is based at Shrewsbury Athletic Track, at Shrewsbury College, London Road, SY2 6PR. We have an increasing junior section of the club, who compete in the Shropshire Young Athletes League track and field (Summer) and Cross Country (Winter). There is currently a waiting list for the Under 11 & Under 13 agegroups. Please phone the Club Secretary for youngsters to be added to the list. We have a strong senior distance running group, competing in Road, Track, Fell and Cross Country.
