Wyre Forest 8.5, 21/2/10
In snowy conditions Steve Waters and Paul Clark competed in the popular Wyre Forest 8.5m multi-terrain race near Bewdley. After a frantic 2 mile downhill start both runners found the remainder of the race tough going but both came away with respectable placings, Steve Waters 16th in 57.10 and Paul Clark 20th and 1st V50 in 57.47.
Farndon 10k, 7/3/10
In perfect weather at the Farndon 10k, the impressive Pete Middleton ran a PB of 34.20 to finish 2nd overall beating some good local runners in the process. He was followed home by Steve Waters in 13th place in 37.02 and Chris Wakeman in 39.18 and 3rd V50.

- Shrewsbury Athletics Club
- The club is based at Shrewsbury Athletic Track, at Shrewsbury College, London Road, SY2 6PR. We have an increasing junior section of the club, who compete in the Shropshire Young Athletes League track and field (Summer) and Cross Country (Winter). There is currently a waiting list for the Under 11 & Under 13 agegroups. Please phone the Club Secretary for youngsters to be added to the list. We have a strong senior distance running group, competing in Road, Track, Fell and Cross Country.
