Shrewsbury Athletic Club runners have represented Shropshire as part of teams which competed successfully in the Meerbrook 15K Race, a tough course with 1200 feet of ascent on the Staffordshire Moorlands, with Paul Jones 2^nd and 1^st Veteran Over 45 in 56/18 and Richard Mckenna 14^th in 59/54, both part of the Men's Team which won the Men's Team event. Lauren Morley finished 56^th and 9^th Lady in 68/55 and Jemma Brown 83^rd and 17^th Lady in 71/50, both part of the Women's Team which were runners up in the Women's Team event.

Jamie Lambie's season goes from strength to strength, leading the Club side home once again in the Ironbridge 4 Mile Race, the fourth fixture in the Telford Sexarathon Series, in 7^th place in 21/51. There were age category successes for Pete Savill, 1^st Veteran Over 65, Kevin Francis, 2^nd Veteran Over 50 and Haydn Jones, 2^nd Veteran Over 55. Naomi Cook improved to 12^th place in the Women's Race.

In other road races, Richard Mckenna finished 2^nd and 2^nd Veteran Over 40 in 35/16 in the Barmouth 10K Race, with Pete Hughes 11^th in 40/06, Pete Savill competed in the British Masters 5K Road Championships at the Horwich 5K, finishing 6^th in the Over 65 category in 76^th place overall in 19/49, Connor Middleton finished 122^nd in 1/26/26 in the Swansea Half Marathon in a field of over 4600 runners, with Richard Jones 239^th in 1/31/52 and Colin Perry finished 71^st in 1/27/16 in the Derby Half Marathon in a field of over 2300 runners, his fourth half marathon of 2019 in addition to the London Marathon.

Away from the road running scene, Carl Aveyard finished 4^th and 2^nd Veteran Over 35 in 1/47/39 in the Offa's Dyke 15 Mile Race, with Kevin Francis 14^th and 4^th Veteran Over 45 in 1/58/38, Carl Aveyard was 6^th in 23/21 in the Mynydd Myfyr Hill Race , with Graham Jones 17^th and 1^st Veteran Over 60 in 25/39 and in the Trail Marathon Wales Half Marathon in the Coed y Brenin forest in the Snowdonia National Park, Graham Jones finished 19^th and 1^st Veteran Over 60 in 1/46/36, Chris Hedley 155^th in 2/18/29, Graham Parton 163^rd in 2/19/27 and Duncan Rose 299^th in 2/40/13. In the Sheinton Steeplechase, Pete Savill finished 27^th and 1^st Veteran Over 65 in 23/58, Steve Turk 29^th in 24/14, Daphne Jones 47^th and 1^st Under 17 Girl in 26/36 and Gill Evans 85^th and 2^nd Lady Veteran Over 55 in 29/54.
