With opportunities to compete in marathon races in short supply and with potential marathons at Berlin, Chester, York and Wrexham cancelled due to the Covid pandemic, Shrewsbury Athletic Club's Pete Middleton seized the opportunity at short notice to compete in the Bedford Autodrome Marathon, taking full advantage of the Formula 1 designed smooth traffic free course around the popular motor racing circuit to finish 18th in a personal best time of 2/38/49, taking his marathon time below 2/40 to achieve the London Marathon Championship standard.

Matt Wooden made the step up to Ultra Distance running when he competed in the Jurassic Coast Ultra Race, a challenging but scenic course of 53 kilometres and over 3000 feet of ascent around Dorset's Purbeck peninsula and coastline, finishing 116th in a time of 7 hours 9 minutes and 48 seconds.
