Shrewsbury Athletic Club's young athletes brought their Shropshire Young Athletes Cross Country League campaign to a successful conclusion in the final fixture at Much Wenlock, where the Under 11 and Under 13 Girls teams both finished 1^st on the day and Series Champions for the first time in 19 years. The Under 11 Boys finished equal first on the day and runners up for the Series and the Under 13 Boys finished 3^rd on the day and 4^th Team in the Series. Individual podium places on the day went to Bethany Trow 1^st Under 11 Girl, Adam Bentham 2^nd Under 11 Boy, Lucy Newall 2^nd Under 13 Girl and Jess Gunner 3^rd Under 17 Girl. Individual podium placings went to Bethany Trow Under 11 Girls Champion, Lucy Newall Under 13 Girls Runner Up, Adam Bentham Under 11 Boys Runner Up and Jess Gunner 3^rd Under 17 Girl.
